Diane dreams of America, and she arrives in New York in 1970, where she has another encounter that will also change her destiny.
It is the meeting with Diana Vreeland, the famous fashion journalist.
Diane takes the plunge, creates her brand DVF, and above all, her icon, the wrap dress, a mythical DVF model with which she conquers America and then the world.

Diane Von Furstenberg has returned to Brussels, her city, which recently named her an honorary citizen.
The fashion museum dedicates an exhibition to Diane's iconic dress (Woman before fashion, until Jan. 1, 2024), and the Amigo Hotel, a famous palace in the capital, dedicates a Suite to her, magnificent in her image, her universe — a Suite for Diane in Brussels, where it all began.


It is with Greta Halfin, Diane's sister-in-law (born Diane Halfin) and also the director of DVF for Belgium, that Diane, along with the teams from Hotel Amigo, transformed an already exceptional suite into a unique space in the world, entirely dedicated to the Brussels designer.



Personal dedications, decor, books, colors and probably little secrets with access only to lucky guests of Hotel Amigo - the entire universe and life of Diane are present in this suite.
After the suite dedicated to Magritte, and then another incredible suite that immerses us in the adventures of our national hero, Tintin, the spirit of DVF has taken hold of this luxurious apartment within the historical walls of the prestigious property.
