A unique jewel, to support medical research. A 10 years story
Research is of vital importance for the development of medicine. It offers insight into problems which we are struggling with today and supplies innovative solutions.
Since its creation in 2009 the exceptional quality of the stones used has been the MANALYS hallmark; it is the prime concern, the firm’s raison d’être and what makes it stand out from the crowd.
The Maison Manalys, its creator Moïse Mann, its workshops of craftsmen nestled at the back of the jeweller's shop on the Bd de Waterloo, and the whole team have once again mobilized to support the Erasmus Fund and medical research.
For more than 10 years, Manalys has participated in the gala dinner organized each year to benefit research by creating a unique piece each time.
This year, the jewelry piece "ZYGOTE", a sublime pendant in 18-carat gold, more than a carat of diamonds and 2 identical Akoya pearls, perfectly symbolizes the theme of medically assisted reproduction (MAP).
This masterpiece was put up for sale during the gala held on May 12 at the Chateau de la Hulpe and was the highlight of the charity dinner, being sold for the modest sum of 13,000 euros, directly donated to the Erasmus Fund!
Moise Mann is not only one of the most recognized experts in gemstones, we are proud to count him among our personalities who have joined LB as Insiders.
