“¡VIVA LA VIDA! — A tribute to Frida Kahlo.”
You know how much we love beautiful stories — the ones that make Brussels shine, that spark creativity and inspire us all.
This one began in the heart of spring with a first chapter dedicated to a brand we truly adore: Freywille, with its colourful, brilliant, and precious collections. Remember? The brand launched a delightfully romantic contest for that very special time of the year — Mother’s Day (read our story).
A lovely message box was set up in the shop window, and hundreds of spring flowers were handed out in the streets of our capital, especially around the Grand Sablon.
Each bloom carried a little card, inviting us to write our most heartfelt words in honour of our mothers.
A handwritten love note, a testament of gratitude to the mothers of Brussels — it was an incredible success, with a record number of participants and gifts for everyone who joined in! Flowers and presents, in a contest that had real meaning — an initiative that touched so many with its poetic, floral tribute to mothers.
And now, in the heart of Brussels’ summer, Freywille invites you once again to take part in a new contest — to dive into an extraordinary universe, imagined and transformed into Art, colour, and symbol.
