From this coastal haven, Thalion has been harnessing and elevating the power of marine algae for 30 years, an anniversary they proudly celebrated this year!

THALION is, above all, a passion—a true passion born from the harmony between generous nature and constant, rigorous research.

This year marks a milestone: 30 years dedicated to women and men, developing marine cosmetics crafted from the finest algae, offering each individual the very best the sea has to give.

It is the extraordinary journey of a man I had the privilege of meeting, whose passion has driven his demanding vision from Plouguerneau, a quaint town on Brittany’s northern coast. His human-centered story places algae—so rich in nutritional benefits—at the heart of his research. Through THALION’s range of products, these nutrients are channeled into smoothing treatments, hydrating creams, detox teas to aid digestion and elimination, firming serums, and even a reshaping concentrate.

These fresh, refined products glide on like velvet, deeply penetrating to nourish and re-densify the skin.

But beyond the story of the THALION brand and its impressive benefits, I had to experience its magic firsthand. To do so, I was offered a series of treatments.

The first was a 20-minute body wrap, where my body was coated with algae and marine mud. Resting on a water-filled mattress that gently embraced my weight, I felt as if I were floating. The soothing warmth of the mattress activated the active ingredients in the algae and marine mud, allowing them to spread throughout my body.

I couldn’t leave the spa without trying two additional treatments.

The first was a calming massage called "Volupté des Mers", lasting 50 minutes.
The sensory journey began with an olfactory selection, setting the tone with sunny and joyful notes of the "Sparkling Citrus" fragrance. Slowly, my body was enveloped in a cocoon of well-being through the Volupté des Mers massage. Marine-inspired movements, solar-infused techniques, and the unique Hypno-Slow method delivered an unparalleled sense of relaxation.
The treatment concluded with the application of a melting balm, leaving me utterly serene.
"Volupté des Mers" is truly a moment of pure tranquility.

Afterward, I indulged in a detox herbal infusion at the tea bar before moving on to the final experience: the “Facial Oxygen Booster” treatment.

This high-tech facial combines performance and relaxation, delivering 100% effective results. Designed to restore tone and firmness, it involves deep massages of the scalp, face, trapezius muscles, and neck. After 50 minutes of pure bliss and letting go, my skin felt stronger, energized, and radiant.
