In some ways, literature is an art, when we leave the pen to a poet, the words that will be printed will make you dance in your head, as if you were following a melody that is discovered in each line, pass the pen to a dreamer and he will take you word after word in his imagined adventures...
Literature also brings richness to our society because nothing is more enriching than to lose yourself in a book that has managed to catch you and keep you until the end, clinging to a role, a character that you have accepted.



Literature has also this precious particularity to exist only through a couple, a reader needs a book and a book of his reader, that's why reading is generous, each one giving himself to the other in a free way and demanding from the other as much as he demands from himself, on one side the writer, on the other the reader, here we are in the presence of the 2 persons responsible of this enriching and generous art of literature.

During the event, Passa Porta will host the annual meeting of the ICORN network (International Cities of Refuge Network).
