Our curated selection of stories loved by men.

It’s always a pleasure to dive into a selection, especially a book selection—those printed pages filled with symbols that, when read, have the power to transport you instantly to any situation.
From the darkest moments in crime novels to the most inspiring and magical stories in Sci-Fi and Fantasy, which happen to be my personal favorites.
Here, we’ve got a themed selection, with reads spanning different years of publication, handpicked from millions of books. The brief? A selection tailored for men—though that doesn't mean they can’t be enjoyed by a woman’s touch.
However, they’re more aligned with topics that typically spark interest among the boys.
Now, you’re probably wondering how I curated this list. The truth is, I didn’t! Instead, I dove into the rankings of book royalty and the RD's US reader community.
What you see here is the result of a handpicked selection geared toward the masculine mind. So, here’s my take on the best of the best—read and fully approved!
All that’s left is to pick your first one and devour it within a few days, then move on to the next.
Besides being part of the RD selection, these books read like a warm, freshly-baked pastry—quickly and with great enjoyment.
You can for sure find these little precious books by visiting your next door library in Brussels!

Happy reading, gentlemen!

TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD - Harper Lee

If you haven’t read To Kill a Mockingbird yet, it's time to add it to your list. This Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, published in 1960, tells the emotional story of a young girl in Depression-era Alabama whose lawyer father defends a Black man accused of raping a white woman. Tackling racism and prejudice, it’s become a staple in high school curriculums. Two of the guys we talked to called it an essential read for men at any stage of life.
