Day of the King
They say he's the king, the Lion.
Today is his day and that of all those he rules, animals of the world.
I would say the Tiger, so beautiful and also royal, Elephant could also get the title.. in any case, whatever the throne, the one who sits on it is not an animal, one does not treat a king in this way...
For almost 100 years, humanity has dedicated one day of the year to those to whom we make life more difficult every day, except for a select few who share our daily lives and to whom we give so much love.
It is better than nothing, but there is something pathetic about these days that we offer as a reminder of ethics and compassion.
Let's be honest, we are not impartial when writing this content at the studio, there are 3 dogs and 1 parrot that comes with the team all the time and share their daylife with us.
This article reminds us that despite some encouraging figures on the safeguarding of wildlife species and particularly in Europe, there are in the world more than 100 million animals that are slaughtered solely for their fur and its commercial appeal each year.
Concerning their living areas, we continue to massacre the forests of the tropical arc at a rate of about 10 million hectares every year, noting that 5 million hectares are replanted ... the balance remains extremely negative.
Fortunately, there are so many initiatives taken in favor of not only the familiar hairballs but also the wild ones.
The trend seems to be better and we can perhaps hope that those who make plans to govern our beautiful planet do not forget to integrate those who have been here much longer than us and that by this simple principle, must be respected.
Today the world celebrates animals, we totally support the action, we do it today and every day by staying open and informed about their destiny and when I was talking about beautiful initiatives and especially at the local level, Brussels joined this worldwide movement and organized last Sunday an "Animal Welfare Day" with workshops, meetings and lots of activities and will dress today our little bronze angel with a hairier costume than usual.
