Our good friends at the Bruxellons Festival will continue to make a name for themselves, and above all to make creativity and the performing arts shine! For 24 years, the Brussels summer has been decked out in its most spectacular colours in the sublime setting of the Kereveld Castle in Molenbeek.

The festival has just won the 2022 honorary trophy for its contribution to the development of musicals during the "Trophées de la Comédie Musicale" award ceremony in Paris, congratulations to the whole team!

This festival is unbelievable in its quality and level of entertainment, each edition the brilliant team of the Bruxellons Festival takes us away in a program of plays, performances, magic, and of course, a brand new original musical adapted each time in an extraordinary way!
This year again, the directors and technical teams offer us a wonderful story, that of Sissi, the famous Empress of Austria, played on cinema and TV by the beautiful Romy.

More than 12 million spectators have seen this show in 14 countries and 9 different languages, now finally available in French, in Brussels.

"In the summer of 2022, we will take up a new challenge and present the world premiere in French of the most important German musical, Elisabeth. This work was first performed in 1992 at the Vienna Opera. Thirty years after its premiere, it is considered by many experts to be the work that marks the renaissance of contemporary continental musical theatre in Europe. The musical recounts the real life story of 'Sissi', Elisabeth of Wittelsbach, who was to become Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary. This is a far cry from Ernst Marischka's three films with Romy Schneider (1955 to 1957)."

One of the reasons for the huge success of Bruxellons! is clearly the level and diversity of the shows on offer.
Every summer, we have the feeling that the directors (Jack Cooper & Simon Paco) are raising the bar a little higher, and we can even announce that for the 2023 edition, it is a monument of the musical that will be adapted, West Side Story!
