Introducing Antophila, hard worker citizen

We, people of Brussels love bees! We have more than 500 beehives on our roofs and 350 beekeepers are listed with the Royal Society of Beekeeping, a venerable royal institution in the service of Her Majesty the Queen!

Anthophila appeared 100 million years ago, already beginning its vocation to spread life, with its small hind legs ... and its wings hanging in the back.
She has never stopped evolving, in the natural search to become better in her role, to work very hard because her life is short, from 3 months to maybe 6 for lucky ones.
She shares everything with her community, she makes honey, she educates future generations, protects her Queen and brings back floral nectar, taking care to drop some seeds in the process, just to do her part for the planet.

Antophila is her civil status name, on stage her name is Bee and for more or less 7,500 years, we have come to know each other, and to offer her all-inclusive accommodations in exchange for a unique substance, honey.
It remains edible for eternity and its virtues are extraordinary, nutritious, curative, healing, cosmetic, even divine by many civilizations throughout history. Honey takes part in many legends and participated in the main panoply of the Alchemist. To believe the old books, and even some grimoires, honey possesses powers of charm and bewitchment.

Who knows ... What is certain is that if we observe the life of a bee, their social organisation, their permanent work to collect pollen, making incessant trips back and forth throughout its life to produce this nectar full of energy and concentrated from thousands of flowers, the only edible substance that never dies, it is quite paradoxical when we think of the life span of a bee.
So, we, Brussels' citizens and the world, we love bees and their honey we love it and we put it everywhere !!
In sauces, on salads, buttered toast, my tea, just on a piece of bread or with a spoon, in the morning with lemon for detox, on the face or hair as a mask, on scars (and wrinkles!) to make them disappear, in short .. everywhere and all the time!
