Planet Fashion Weeks
The fashion industry is the one that knows best how to communicate, present itself to its future clients and especially seduce buyers!
The codes of luxury have been largely defined by fashion, and all around the world, brands are constantly parading in a global and theatrical showroom, the Fashion Week.
Every year, the round of Fashion Weeks starts again and does not cease to turn the head of an entire universe, there are more than 140 in the world, we speak of a galaxy of fashion, consisting of 4 very large planets, Paris, Milan, New York and London, and around which happily gravitate hundreds of more fashion planets of different sizes.
The whole being inter-connected and more and more sparkling and creative since the world market is growing, the forecasts expect more than 5% per year until 2025, if it is possible to predict anything today ^^.
The global value of the fashion industry is estimated at 3000 billion dollars (source), a single Fashion Week, as successful as it may be, could obviously not promote such a market and such a number of actors.
For Paris Fashion Week, located like its three big sisters at the center of the galaxy, no less than three Fashion Weeks are organized, at the end of June to present men's fashion, at the beginning of July for the queen of Haute Couture and this week for women's fashion, the most awaited since it represents more than a third of fashion purchases worldwide.
The Fashion Week galaxy regulates the business of fashion, its local spin-offs for cities are also considerable, they host all the designers in the world, thousands of journalists, many celebrities participate to focus attention each time, fashionistas of all kinds, thousands of buyers who go there and order their next collections store.
During this Parisian week that will end on October 4, the catwalks of the fashion capital will host several and beloved Belgian brands and designers, Delvaux (show on 29/09), Dries Van Noten (show on 28/09), Christian Wijnants (show on 30/09), Ann Demeulemeester (show on 01/10) will present their Spring / Summer 2023 collections!
Belgian designer Natan, an iconic couture and haute couture brand, decided to bring its team to Amsterdam Fashion Week and recently presented its Spring/Summer 2023 collection (click HERE).
As always, colorful show, impeccable cuts, judicious choices and above all a real intention of intelligent modernization, bravo to Edouard Vermeulen and his craftsmen!
