Since 21 of May, 55 candidates from all over the world have entered the competition at Studio 4 in Flagey.



2 sublime voices represent the Belgian hopes of this international competition dedicated this year and for the 10th time to the lyric, Lotte Verstaen and Margaux de Valensart, will interpret throughout the tests various imposed and free compositions until the final which we hope them to reach!



Voice is the title of the competition, and the vocal level of the candidates is very high, 55 selected out of the 412 singers who applied for the first selection!
Soprano, mezzo, contralto, tenor, baritone and bass, all the tonalities follow one another during this first phase in front of the prestigious jury, until this Wednesday 24th, beginning of the semi-finals, then the final from June 1st to 3rd in the Leboeuf room of Bozar, the finalists will be accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of La Monnaie.
Back to Studio 4 in Flagey on June 7 and 8 for the closing concert of the competition and the recital of the winners, traditionally, the evening will be set to music by Alejo Pérez and the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen Symphony Orchestra which will introduce the brand-new winners with a festive programme full of highlights from the opera repertoire.
