Opus 2 of our journey dedicated to the most beautiful places of entertainment in Brussels.
In our first article (read), we highlighted 3 of the most important places in the Brussels art scene, the Cirque Royal, the Theatre National Wallonie-Brussels and the famous and huge Palais 12  located at Brussels Expo, near the Atomium.

As you know, LB loves the artists and the stage, the shows and all the thousands of hours of work that are not visible, as if it were easy, the artists on stage wearing their most beautiful smile make us forget the incredible efforts and the many rehearsals they have made, so that on the big day, at the premiere and afterwards, nothing seems difficult, only the happiness of sharing their talent with the public and telling us stories with their bodies, their words and above all, their passion, because to do this job without passion is impossible.

Paris has its Olympia, Brussels has its AB (Ancienne Belgique).
This hall has been rocking the rhythm of the rock, variety, rap and all the music of the world for a very long time.
On the facade you can still see a plaque with the mention "Meersliedenambacht 1781" (ed. note: we don't really know what that means)...
Mythical concert hall nestled in the heart of Brussels the Old Belgium, the #1 concert venue in Belgium presents contemporary music, especially rock and pop, from all over the world.

The Bozar (Centre For Fine Arts) is an extraordinary building and one of the top places for culture, Arts expo and performing arts in Belgium.
Its large Henry Le Boeuf hall is unique and is considered one of the best concert halls in the world for its technical specifications and notably its perfect acoustics.
Victor Horta designed the hall for concerts but as a venue it is extremely versatile.
Many great Belgian and international artists dream of one day standing on its stage big enough to accommodate large symphony orchestras as well as chamber ensembles and solo artists.

Culture lovers of all ages feel at home in this magnificent art deco building, which offers concerts of classical and contemporary music, jazz and traditional music, as well as a large space for film and video.
Every year, Flagey welcomes the greatest artists from here and abroad, and offers an ideal showcase for young Belgian and international talent.
The structural support of the different Belgian communities, the exceptional acoustic quality of the halls, a varied program and festivals such as the Queen Elisabeth Competition, Flagey Piano Days or the Brussels Jazz Festival for examples make Flagey a major player in the cultural scene, in Belgium and internationally.
